H. C. (Buster) Bailey, Jr. has been employed by the H. C. Bailey Companies in various capacities, since 1961, having been elected President of H. C. Bailey Company and its affiliated companies in April 1969. H. C. Bailey Company was founded in 1931 by his father. The Bailey company's primary areas of activity have been in real estate investments, development, property management, mortgage banking, financial institutions, lumber and supply company, and general insurance. The companies presently own or have previously owned and/or operated office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and commercial and residential developments. Mr. Bailey serves on the Board of Directors of EastGroup Properties, Inc., Dunn Investment Company, Cimarron Mortgage Company, as well as the H. C. Bailey Company affiliates. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of Mississippi Valley Gas Company, Parkway Company and Gulfshores, Inc. He is a Past President of Mortgage Lenders Association of Mississippi, Former Member of Young President's Organization and presently a member of the Chief Executives Organization, World Presidents Organization and the Society of International Business Fellows.

William C. (Bill) Bailey serves as Executive Vice President and Real Estate Broker for the company in real estate transactions. Mr. Bailey joined his father and brother in the H. C. Bailey Companies in 1963. The primary areas of activity for the Bailey Companies have been lumber and supply company, real estate investments and development, general insurance, shopping centers, mortgage banking and hotel ownership. His expertise remains in real estate investments and sales. He serves on the H. C. Bailey Company and affiliates Board of Directors. Mr. Bailey also is a Member of the Board of Realtors and Member and Past Director of the Jackson Board of Realtors.

Mr. Bailey resides in Jackson, Mississippi, with his wife, Carol. They have four daughters and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Wise joined the H. C. Bailey Company in November of 2004 to provide legal advice and counsel to the organization. Mr. Wise was formerly General Counsel to Mississippi Valley Gas Company, a former General Attorney for the Mississippi Public Service Commission, and a partner in the law firm of McAlpin Wise and Quarles. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in Mississippi, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of International Trade. Mr. Wise holds a degree from Mississippi State University in Political Science, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi and a post graduate diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the University of London's Queen Mary College.

Mr. Speed is President of Colony Properties, LLC, a real estate development and services company based in Ridgeland, MS.  Colony Properties is affiliated with the H. C. Bailey group of companies.  Mr. Speed, in partnership with H. C. Bailey, Jr., formed Colony Properties in mid-2002.  The company which specializes in office and retail development along Highland Colony Parkway in Madison County, has completed and/or started construction on over 300,000 square feet of Class A office space and over 500,000 square feet of high end retail space.  These developments represent a total investment of in excess of $150 million.

Prior to co-founding Colony Properties, Mr. Speed accumulated a wide variety of commercial real estate experience with both private and public real estate companies based in Atlanta, GA, Jackson, MS and Augusta, GA.  This group of companies includes the following:  Southeast Captial Partners, Atlanta, GA (private multi-family developer; Speed was an equity Partner), EastGroup Properties, Jackson, MS (industrial REIT; Sr. V.P.), Merry Land & Investment Co., Augusta, GA (multi-family REIT; V.P.), GE Capital, Atlanta, GA (real estate finance co., Asset Manager), Cushman & Wakefield, Atlanta, GA (national real estate brokerage; Leasing Broker).

Speed also served as a Director of Merry Land Properties, Inc.  (publicly traded apartment developer/owner) prior to the company's sale.

Speed is a native of Jackson, MS was educated at Washington & Lee University (graduated in 1986) and Vanderbilt University (MBA 1991).

Mr. Speed, who lives in Jackson, MS is married and has two children. 

Mr. Wheeler is the Vice President of real estate for Colony Properties, LLC, a real estate development and services company based in Ridgeland, MS.  Colony Properties is affiliated with the H.C. Bailey group of companies.  Mr. Wheeler joined Colony Properties in 2007. 

Prior to joining Colony Properties, Mr. Wheeler held positions with private and public real estate companies in Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana where he has gained over 12 years of commercial real estate experience.  Mr. Wheeler is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and member of The Institute of Real Estate Management, and a Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM) and member of The International Council of Shopping Centers.  He is also a licensed Realtor.

Mr. Wheeler currently serves as an officer in the Mississippi Chapter of IREM.  In addition to this, Mr. Wheeler is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, and a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Wheeler is a native of Hattiesburg, MS, and received his college education from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Mr. Wheeler lives in Madison, MS with his wife and two children.

Michelle Burford, CCIM, joined the firm in April 2005 as the Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing of Colony Park. Prior to joining the company, she worked for The Mattiace Company where she served as a Vice President for eight years as a Leasing & Sales Associate. Michelle was also employed with Cress Realty Group, Inc. and previously H.C. Bailey Management Company where she started her career in commercial real estate in Jackson, Mississippi in 1988.  Before her relocation to Mississippi, Michelle was in the real estate business in Boca Raton, Florida.

Ms. Burford is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is very active in the organization serving as the past Director of Education for two years and Secretary/Treasurer 2005, a Realtor® Member and 2006 President of the Mississippi Commercial Association of Realtors®, Mississippi Association of Realtors® Leadership 2001 Alum, and a member of the Agriculture, Commercial and Industrial Association.She is a native of New Orleans and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephens College (Columbia, MO) in Business Administration.

Harris Callum joined H. C. Bailey in November 2001 and serves as a Property Manager for 100 Renaissance and 300 Concourse in Colony Park. Prior to joining H. C. Bailey he was in real estate sales and has a background in commercial lending and finance. Harris is a graduate of Mississippi College where he earned a BS degree in Business Administration and was a member of Delta Sigma Pi fraternity. Mr. Callum is a licensed real estate broker, member of BOMA Mississippi, Mississippi Commercial Association of Realtors,  Agricultural Commercial & Industrial Association, and an active member in the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce where he served as a diplomat last year.

Ms. Millis has been with H. C. Bailey since June 2003 and serves as a Facility Manager responsible for the day-to-day tenant relations, maintenance, security access, and building operations of Colony Park. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Millis was Facility Manager for eleven years for a corporate telecommunications company overseeing more than 1 million square feet.  Previously, she was employeed as an export frieght manager for an international and domestic manufacturing company in Houston, Texas.

Ms. Millis is a native Mississippian and is active in the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce where she serves as a diplomat.

Leigh Bailey has worked in various capacities with the H. C. Bailey Companies since 1988, including her time with Security Savings & Loan.  She has also sold residential real estate with Prudential Gateway Real Estate and owned and operated The Real Estate Book from 1991 to 1997.  She is a member of the Jackson Association of Realtors®, Mississippi Association of Realtors®, and the Agricultural, Commercial & Industrial Association. Leigh also does interior design for both commercial and residential projects.

Leigh lives in Madison, Mississippi with her daughter, Ali Randle.  Leigh is a volunteer with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.  She is a member of the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church.
